“Exceptional winery tour with Dave. From excellent pre/post tour communication, pick up in his spotless vehicle to an individualized tour that catered to our group’s knowledge and previous experience with winery tours. Dave created a relaxed atmosphere for our group, encouraging questions and sharing his vast knowledge of wines in general and the county’s wineries in specific. He also provided thermal water bottles and the optional catered lunch was fantastic (highly recommended) with many personalized touches. Dave also made an added effort for our group to experience some of the glorious countryside that PEC has to offer. The attention to detail and the individually curated experience ensures that we will be calling on Revolving Axis for any future winery tours. “We had a wonderful day and birthday celebration. Our favourite location was the Three Dog Winery, where we had an in-depth tour hosted by Andrew. We then enjoyed wood oven pizzas by an open fire while tasting our wine selections on the beautiful property overlooking the vineyard. I would definitely recommend it! “Fantastic wine touring day with Dave! He politely and expertly chauffeured us to our chosen wineries, adding his local knowledge and insightful reviews of the wines and winemakers. Our tour was effectively tailored to us after discussing our tastes. He suggested some new wine experiences which were appreciated and we would not have found/had otherwise. We were accepted warmly everywhere we went. The box lunch was perfect, even catering to an all-veggie meal! Overall, a terrific and enjoyable experience for all four of us! Would do it again. “We had an amazing afternoon touring four wineries with Dave. Each winery had an interesting ambience and we thoroughly enjoyed each one. As this was our first time in PEC, Dave included a tour of the County and helped us decide what we wanted to do for the next few days while we were there. We highly recommend Dave! He is extremely knowledgeable about wines and about the County, has a friendly and engaging manner, and takes the time to curate the afternoon and make it extremely enjoyable.”

“We had an amazing experience touring 4 wineries in the County with Dave. He made it easy for us from the very beginning: very good communication in the booking process, he contacted the wineries to book our tour and offered some advice on things for us to do in the County for our stay. Dave was very punctual, came to pick us up on time, and had cold water bottles ready for us, if needed (which of course, we did!). He was very friendly, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable about the wine, the wineries, the wine-making process, and the County in itself. We had a wonderful time! “My friend and I had an excellent tour with Dave as our guide. We let Dave choose which wineries we were going to, and he chose perfectly. We also added in the addition of a cidery. And it was a Homerun. Super knowledgable and easy to talk with. He showed up with a gorgeous BMW SUV, thermal water bottles, along with a cooler for water topups. “It was a pleasure not only touring PEC wineries with Dave but also spending an afternoon with him. Dave is a delight (as were his partner’s baked goods he brought for us), and we were at ease throughout the day, aided by the comfort of Dave’s BMW and Yeti water cooler. From the get go, it was also clear that Dave was a fountain of knowledge both for the wineries we visited and the region as a whole. Dave did an excellent job catering the tour to our tastes and preferences; as we had mentioned our love of orange wine, he took us to Trail Estate, which has a funkier selection of wines than other’s in the region (orange wine, pet nats and a wine made from concord grapes). The only issue on the tour was deciding which wines we should take home. I can’t imagine touring PEC with anyone besides Dave, and, with close to 30 wineries left to visit, I expect to be back out in Dave’s BMW again in the years to come. “Recently we did a wine tour of Prince Edward County with Dave of Revolving Axis. It was a very enjoyable day, we learned a lot about Prince Edward County, its past and present, the wine industry, and how it has adapted to the climate there. Dave is a wealth of knowledge and was very helpful in choosing wines to try out during our tasting. The wineries are quite different from the California and Niagara ones. Small but very friendly and offering some good wines. I highly recommend Dave with his personal tours, far more informative than the big bus tours. When booking with Revolving Axis, you get a curated tour of 4 out of the multiple wineries of the region according to your tastes and preferences based on information you provide to your very knowledgeable guide, Dave. The wineries were expecting us and we were warmly received at each of them. Dave is passionate about wine and we learned so much about the particularities of wine making in an Ontario climate. “From start to finish Dave was prompt, professional, attentive and informative. The majority of wineries we visited were small family owned businesses and it felt like a personal experience when they were sharing their knowledge about their wines. It’s hard to single out any in particular because they all had something unique to offer. However, the pairing of the cheese and wine at Lighthall was excellent. We opted for the lunch provided by Dave and this was a perfect pause in our itinerary. We enjoyed a charcuterie plate with vegetables from Dave’s garden. We loved the personal touch and Dave had picked the perfect spot for us to enjoy the meal. We booked our winery tour with Dave at Revolving Axis and couldn’t have asked for a better host, tour guide and driver! From the first email, to the little details including water bottle for each of us, homemade nut mix (asked about allergies first), large Yeti in the trunk to fill our water bottles and the most personalised experience! These are just to name a few things that Dave provided for us! He was very knowledgeable and informative on the area, and the wineries (plus one cider house for us) which really added to the tour!
